Microsoft Teams - Preview application for Linux (.deb)

Hi Everyone.

I am using MS Teams client for Ubuntu/Linux on Ubuntu 20.04.1.

I downloaded and installed it as described on: https://www.microsoft.com/en-gb/microsoft-365/microsoft-teams/download-app.

After entering account sign-in the client is only able to connect to the service when being started as super user (via <sudo> command). Otherwise following error is posted in application window in bottom left corner: 'Error code - env_check_error failed to connect to settings endpoint'.

Is this necessary or can the client somehow be started without super user rights?

Any tips would be appreciated.

Best Regards,

Alexander
