Hi my birthday was about a month ago and i got a xbox elite series 2 controller. The controller was great to use until stick drift came into to play. Every time i put down my controller to go to the bathroom or eat. my controller moves by itself. Also when im playing any video games my charecter has a mind of it’s own and walks forward very slowly without touching the controller stick. Is there a way to fix stick drift in the left analog stick please send me feed back. I did this on my phone so if there are any mess ups in the writing I’m sorry.

I’ve had 3 of these damn things and I bet you’re all too happy with my money.
good luck in the lawsuit.. not buying anything Microsoft ever again thanks to poor customer service.
Hello SpyCoffee, I am Andrew an independent advisor. Unfortunately parts get worn out in controllers, my suggestions to you are to clean out the analog stick with a dry cloth or if you can, return it to the store.
Taking it apart to clean the inside voids any warantee so that's up to you but an effective treatment. For further help please contact the Xbox support team at support.xbox.com

I have had the controller for a month by chance does the left analog stick get worn out in such a short amount of time.
I cannot say how quickly a part would wear out, it depends on use and abuse on the parts. If you've not opened the product the Xbox team may be able to help service or fix the controller for you.
How would I know if the controller is broken without opening the box.

i have the elite series 2, too.
Stick drift is also there, but only in the first 1mm after Stick activation. And just to the left side. This sucks, really, because i paid a lot money for it.
But honestly, the Controller except Stick drift is so much great technology and makes me so fun to play. E.g. on warzone i can set the deathzone to 0.5 and the Stick drift is available in minimal stick activation. Yes its still available, but it is really only in minimal activation. Do it disturb my gameplay? Not really, the aim is still pretty nice.
So yes, warranty is necessary, but do not make your own adventure with the controller so bad. The controller still makes a lot of fun to play and the precision it was build with is very nice.
