How do I add permission to use the microphone in teams ?

We have accidentally not allowed the microphone to be used in Teams - we do need to add this permission.  How can we do that in Windows 10

    Hi CharlotteHawkings-Byass, 

    To give Microsoft Teams the access to your microphone in Windows 10, please click the Windows Start button > select Settings > Privacy> Microphone, and make sure to turn on Allow apps to access your microphone.

    Then you can open Microsoft teams and click Settings > Devices to check if your microphone is available now.

    I have tried this but in Microsoft teams I do not get devices in my settings - why would this be?
