When I am on a meeting in microsoft teams mobile app, sometimes I used to switch on to google chrome and search about the contents of the meeting while the meeting is going on in Teams. Or else use the calculator in the mobile. Can I know while doing this, whether my screen ( chrome browser or the calculator) is getting shared in the meeting or not? Thankyou.

No I didn't choose sharing screen option. Also when I switched to chrome from the meeting, I got a message from teams saying that ' content being shared. Switch to teams'. At that moment, the meeting holder also was sharing her screen. Can I know whether that message from teams applies on her screen sharing? Or did it say that my screen was getting shared?

    Hi, Sanduni!

My name is Didi. I'm an Independent Advisor and I'll be happy to help you today.

If you tap on or started the 'Share screen' and selected 'entire screen', people who are in the meeting will see if you're searching or using your calculator. Otherwise, they wouldn't.

I hope it answered your question.

    Kind regards,

    Didi

I was unable to click on the screen I wanted to share.  (It was an excel document). I also notice an old program (PowerPoint) that was not open was listed as an option to share.  My boss said he has this same problem.  An old document that he did not open was showing up.

    Regards

    Janice

    Thanks for the reply, Sanduni.

Yes. That message applies to her screen sharing. The system notifies you that it's being done.

    Cheers,

    Didi
