No sound or visual notification when using Power Automate (Flow) to post a message to a Teams Channel

Does anyone have a resolution to this problem or can direct me to answers elsewhere?

I have created a Flow to post a scheduled message to a Teams Channel. It is a general message not targeted at any specific individual. I have also not mentioned any specific channel within the body of the message. The Flow works but there is no audio or visual notification when the message is posted. I had this same problem with another Flow I created. My colleagues did not get any notifications either.

My colleagues and I, have notifications set up for the Teams channel I am referring to, so I would expect that when Flow posts a message to the channel, I should get some kind of visual and / or audio notification like I would if I were to post directly into the channel.

    Thank you for your reply. I've checked all my settings and that's all fine. I have been receiving notifications otherwise and the Flow works when I set it to post a message as the Flow bot to a channel. It doesn't work when I set it to post a message (as myself) which is what I would prefer.

    Hi Mercy U, 

    To troubleshoot this issue, please firstly make sure you have turned on Notification sounds and notifications for all teams and channels in Microsoft Teams > Settings > Notifications, for your reference: 

    Also, please select the Windows Start button, and then select Settings > System > Notifications & actions > Get notifications from these senders > make sure to turn on this option for Microsoft Teams.

    Moreover, to narrow down whether this issue is related with the Flow, please try to send a chat message to a channel to check if you can receive notifications.
