Video and Call problems on Mac

I recently haven't been able to join a video or call on Teams from my Macbook pro computer.  When I finally am able to join, there is no audio (I can't hear the speaker) and it says 'no microphone is detected on this device'.  When I use Zoom, I can hear the speaker and others can hear me.  So this problem only happens on Teams.  How can I fix this problem?

    Hi E Nunez,

Appreciate for the input, so we need to know Teams audio used to work on your mac right? If sir you could clarify it, will be great. For the mac Teams, please go to System Preferences > Security and Privacy > under the Privacy tab > Microphone and un-assign Teams the permission. Reboot your Mac, then re-assign the permission to see how it works.

You could also refer to https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/office/manage-audio-settings-in-a-teams-meeting-6ea36f9a-827b-47d6-b22e-ec94d5f0f5e4

If let's say your issue has not been resolved after attempted the above settings, will you please tell us if you have updated the OS system for your Mac recently ? And any screenshot of your current MacOS or Teams version will be great.

    Kind Regards,

    George
