A family of Microsoft spreadsheet software with tools for analyzing, charting, and communicating data.
I have enabled the "Python in Excel" module. but while writing in formula of any cell there is nothing named "PY" so can't code in cells.
Same here on Parallels Desktop running Win11 Pro 26100.2033 (MacBook Air, M4, 2025) and Microsoft Excel for Microsoft 365 MSO (Version 2505 Build 16.0.18827.20128) 64-bit from the Current Channel.
Solved it by installing Python 3.13 package served through MS Store app and restarting Excel.
Edit:
"Same here" as in I "can't code in cells", it showed the following error message in a pop-up window: "The selected range contains a Python formula. You can update the Excel data in this workbook, like ranges and tables, but you won't be able to edit or create your own Python formulas."
I did not see or install any "module" or an Add-In as one user in this thread prescribes as a possible solution through Options > Add-In menu.
