It this official Microsoft point? Could you please double-check?
We are a big EDU Tenant and A3 / A5 licenses are pretty similar to business E3/E5.

Some of our users interesting in using Loop App, but we can't promote something in Preview that will not be included to our A3/A5 licenses after GA.

Also do you guys have any approximate GA date?

It should be in your M365 Admin Center, Health - Message center -> Find message MC713366

    Hello Patrick Grud Kristensen1

Hope you are doing well today!

Thank you for understand. I know and I can sense the interest of having the Microsoft Loop. However, having Microsoft loop needs to attain the said requirements and there is no other way to bypass it. Hope you understand.

    Hello Jason

    Thanks you for your answer.

I guess I'll just wait and see then.

Buying a new licens is not an option at this point.

And changing our A3 to a E3 does not make sense.

    Hello Patrick Grud Kristensen1

Thank you for posting in Microsoft Community.

I understand that you have a query in regard to Microsoft Loop. Let's work together in finding the best answer to this matter.

The pop-up you received is indicating that Loop requires a Microsoft 365 Business Standard, Microsoft 365 Business Premium, Microsoft 365 E3 or Microsoft 365 E5 license to use. At this time, it is not clear if Microsoft will include A3 and A5 licenses for Loop. However, you can check with your Microsoft account representative or visit the Microsoft 365 Insider website for any updates on this matter. If you do not have any of the required licenses, you can consider upgrading your Microsoft 365 subscription to gain access to Loop.

We look forward to your next response.
