I purchased and downloaded microsoft 365 from the mac app store for an M1 mac running big sur. I wanted to try the excel beta for speed increase on m1. The help menu does not show what the instructions explained:
I downloaded Microsoft auto update app but the switch did not download new apps. Any advice?

Mac App store versions can not join the beta channel. Only Office 365 subscribers of Office purchased elsewhere are eligible for the beta program.
