16.16 Save as PDF blurry pics and huge file size

Split from this thread.

I have just installed the 16.16 version of powerpoint, did the PDF export and the images are still blurry (and the file is huge!!).

I just took the same PPT file and exported it to PDF on Windows and on Mac and the difference is huge! On Mac I have a huge file-size with all non-vector (JPGs, PNGs, etc..) images becoming very blurry!

This is totally unacceptable for a professional tool!!

Why keeping such a bat functionality on PPT for Mac? Why not replicate the PDF creation process that PPT for Windows has?

The option can be found under the PowerPoint > Preferences > General menu. Look for the Print Quality (Paper/PDF) section. You can set either Low, Medium, or High.

No matter how many times the Microsoft team claim to have 'solved' this problem, the conversion from PowerPoint to PDF is STILL coming up horribly blurry and outlines are massive making the pdf pretty darn ugly.

I have had to resort to going back into my time machine and downloading the Last Version (I think 14.0?) for my Mac Apple computer to enable it to work properly.  That is the ONLY solution I have found works to date.

I keep hearing folks talking about changing the 'resolution' in the output for PDF files, but NO ONE IS EXPLAINING how to do that on my Apple Mac version of Office 365 PowerPoint  - so their claims to have fixed the problem is no longer a real fix.
