Why is student work not in the 'Submitted Files' folder on Teams/ Sharepoint?

I have a couple of students whose work does not appear in the 'Submitted Files' folder on Sharepoint. The work was uploaded to Teams Assignments and I need to do a bulk download rather than an arduous, time consuming individual files download.

The work of other students is there in their named folders and downloads no problem. I have no idea why this other work is missing for my other students. Any help would be appreciated.

    Hi, I'm Sergio, an Independent Advisor and Microsoft Team customer just like you, and it's a pleasure to help you.

    When you access to Sharepoint,You will see there are two folders:

    Submitted files and Working files. In each of these is a folder for every learner and in every learner folder is a folder per assignment.

    The difference between Submitted files and Working files is that when a student uploads a document to an Assignment, it goes into the Working files folder. The learner can still open it (in Teams Assignments or in SharePoint) and make changes. Once the student has clicked on the Turn In button, it is copied to the Submitted files golder and no longer allows any changes, maybe the students don't do that.

    I need more details about the trouble to try to solve it.

    1. Your students have the last version of Team app?
    2. Your students try to send the assignments via Team web app?
    3. All your students are in the same kind user group?

    Thanks for your response. The students have 'Turned In' their assignments - numerous assignments, in fact but nothing appears in the Submitted folder.
