Setting up Polls before a meeting

I have a team that was created for teaching a class. I know that you can setup polls before the meeting and launch them during the meeting. I have followed the instructions with trying to add a new tab (forms) in the meeting chat but polls does not launch. Instead I am asked to create a new form for all to edit or open an exisitng one. I created a separate instructor channel and was able to add the extra tab and polls appropriately but can you help me understand why it cannot be added to the channel/meeting with all of my students?

    Hi

My name is Daniel. I am an Independent Advisor.

If you click the "+" tab to add a poll it will indeed ask you to create a form, if you want to launch the poll then you need to run the meeting first then you should be able to see the poll icon next to the raising hand icon. Please refer to the demo video. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=EK4C1vzmGEU&amp...
