Gif Profile Picture

I HIGHLY recommend you NOT to change your profile picture to a GIF file because, if you feel like you wanna change back to a JPG file, it would be hard-means you will be stuck in a loop. I encountered this issue, and I, at last, got rid of it.

Microsoft hasn't programmed the feature yet. Let's wait till Microsoft receives our requests.

Please try these steps:

1. Sign in to Microsoft 365 with your work or school account at https://go.microsoft.com/fwlink/?linkid=841641.
2. Select the circle in the upper right-hand corner of the page that shows your initials or an icon of a person.
3. In My accounts pane, select the circle that shows your initials or an icon of a person. Change your photo in the pop-up that appears.

Please note that your profile picture is synced from Exchange server, and it has been controlled by your IT administrator so If you see any issue with profile picture upload or sync then please contact your school IT help desk/office 365 administrator for more information.

To change your picture to a gif you can:

click on your profile pic 

when you do that you will have the option "change pic" or "add pic".Choose one of them. 

Then click on upload pic and then you can upload a gif if it's saved on your laptop.

Actually changing your profile picture to a gif is not the best thing to do since it will take FOREVER if you want to change it back to a normal picture, and even it may not work, but if you wanna do it go for it 😊😄.

Also, any change to your profile picture may take up to 72 hours to show up in MS Teams.

i have had a gif as my profile picture and when i upload it it stays as a normal pic. And no there are no problems as loading a Gif as your profile pic and you cant upload a normal pic. If anyone has any advice of how the GIF can actually look like A GIF when you upload it then please just message here
