Microsoft teams camera

Hello, I'm using teams as a teacher but I cannot see all students camera whether is is on or off even when I am using large view gallery. Plus when Im sharing my screen, I can see only the student who is asking a question and not the whole class.

  1. why I can't see all students at once?
  2. Can teams make the video icon next to the mic so teacher can check whether a camera is on or off for each student?
  3. Also, can teams have the option of letting the teacher navigating through the cameras even when the screen is shared?(like in zoom).

Hi Sir,

Glad to answer all the questions you listed.

Currently the default view when you join a meeting. If there are more than nine others in attendance, Teams will prioritize the people who have their video turned on, as well as those that are speaking the most. For people that haven't turned on their video, it will show their profile pic instead (or their initials if they haven't added one). In addition, the internet quality and the camera device play a part for displaying all the people in large gallery view.

    when i go on a meeting with my teacher i only see one person and not all of the people that are there
