Logi Capture (virtual camera) not working in MS Teams after update KB5000802

Hi,

My system just installed the update KB5000802. After this, i can't use my virtual camera in Microsoft Teams anymore. Whats up with this?

I'm using Logi Capture to adjust the camera settings for each specific situation, and simultaniously using camera in discord and teams. But now i'm stuck with a direct camera feed in teams, and have to switch everything when i'm changing apps. Also, the direct camera feed in Teams stutters like crazy, what makes it very unpleasant to use.

Can someone send me in a direction to the fix of this issue? I just want to use my virtual camera in teams! (it works fine in discord btw).

PS: it also does not work in the web-version of teams

Thanks,

Daniël

The only virtual camera I suggest and most MS Team users have a good experience is OBS with the NDI Tek plugin. I find the NDI Tek plugin is more stable and robust and the good news is you can get it for free.

Please refer to the following article on how to configure OBS for MS Team.

    https://lucavitali.wordpress.com/2020/06/02/how...

You can download the OBS NDI plugin at the following link below:

    https://github.com/Palakis/obs-ndi/releases/

There are other additional benefits of using OBS for MS Team, you can customize your appearance in OBS software such as flipping images, create transition effects, create running text on the video screen which will enhance your presentation.

Had the same issue with latest software update Capture_2.06.12...

uninstalled and installed earlier version Capture_2.00.226 which restored the compatibility with TEAMs ...

Disabled "auto update" in settings (... ellipsis at bottom of menus) and will be sure not to update.

Telling us to go out and buy new hardware when other video streaming services work with the Logitech Capture system is a big screw you to your customers.

    Hi Daniel,

The issue is not my camera, this works perfectly. As i mentioned, it works just like before in the app Discord.

It's the virtual camera software that seems to have been unsupported or blocked by Microsoft Teams in this update.

    cheers,

    Daniël

Thanks so much. Worked for me too. I went back to the version of March 2021, 2.06.8 since the .12 did not work with Teams any more. Available here: https://support.logi.com/hc/de/articles/360025141614
