Transparent background image for meetings?

We are wanting to create a background that is essentially just a watermark of our logo at the bottom right corner of the screen to use for client appointments.

I tried creating a background that was a PNG image with our logo at the bottom right and while keeping the rest transparent, but when I tested it in Teams on a call, the transparent part just showed up solid white.

Is there any way to create something like this on teams? Or does the background image always going to be a solid colour/image?

    I would like to see the ability to embed transparent graphics, logos, lower thirds etc. and if possible the ability to upload running animated backgrounds either gifs or mp4s with again the ability to have transparency on, something like on news reports etc.

    I need this feature too - seems like Microsoft are behind in this thinking.  It's obvious for businesses isn't it?
