share audio without video

I would like to play music through a teams meeting without displaying my screen and I cannot find how to do it?

    The question is not how-to-share-system-audio-when-sharing-video.  The question is:  how do we share justsystem audio.  Maintain the gallery or speaker view, but allow system audio sharing, so that all can hear the sound generated from the speakers pc, without it being suppressed, and without it cutting through other attendees words.

    Again, THIS IS NOT AN OPTION. You are literally sharing the webpage that we are currently having this conversation on called "Share audio without video". That is not an actual setting to share audio without video.

    Hi Anthony,

    Thank you for your post. Am a regular Microsoft Teams user like you. Let me try.

    First of all, I noticed that a similar feature request was submitted to the Microsoft Teams UserVoice at Share audio only option – Microsoft Teams UserVoice. It is still pending.

    Secondly, I tried to call someone with my MS Teams desktop app and I noticed that I was able to share my audio only. Select Share content, toggle the Include computer sound and select the Share audio only option … as shown below:

    So my suggestion for you is to make sure you update your Teams app. Also Turn on new meeting experience. Verify that your Admin did not set any restriction or policy on that. (Just a thought!)

    You can share a music app in your teams meeting with them. To let them hear the sounds, please make sure you had enabled the share system audio option, please see here to get details.
