Hello everybody!

I'm currently facing a problem with the access to Microsoft Teams after installing Big Sur OS on my MacBook Pro (13" inch early 2015). I can't enter no more in my account on the desktop version of the app (but I can enter and use it on the browser, so it's not an account problem) , and everytime I try to enter in the app it always says this error code: 2:-1001

Hope you can help me!

Uninstall Teams from your Mac. Look for an older version here

Instal older version.... Run and Log in with you account. Update to latest version via app without sign off

and you are god to go.

    Hi all,

Exact same issue and could not find any solution.

    Anyone may advise ?

I had a similar issue with Ms Teams with a Macbook pro upgraded from Catalina to Big Sur mac os. I resolved it by going into Network settings > proxies > and untick or disable the "auto proxy discoverer" option. Once I did this Teams loaded fine and worked as normal.

Workaround - disable ipv6 on your Mac. Go to Network Preferences > Advanced > TCP/IP tab > select 'link-local only' for ipv6.

So I am having a similar problem with logging onto my teams desktop app. The only difference is I am not receiving an error code. I start teams, and it asks me for my login creds. I input those in, it acts like its going to go to my organizations site to log in, but then just closes. I have followed the steps listed above including uninstalling and reinstalling, but no luck.

    Help please!!

    Thank you,

    Jeremy
