Managing sound and video settings during Teams meetings and calls for optimal communication
Got this resolved today by switching out her G5 dock for a G3 dock. Teams was wanting to use the G5 dock as an audio source.

I have a client who says Teams and Zoom used to be set up to use her computer's internal microphone and speakers; but, would automatically switch over to her paired bluetooth headset when she turned it on (connected it). Is this possible? I sure haven't been able to recreate that.

Hi Sergio,
I have seen that in my searching for an answer; but, it does not address what my customer says she wants and has used for the past year or so. She wants her audio settings set to use the computer's internal speaker and microphone, then when she gets on a Teams meeting, she can turn on her already paired headset and use it without having to manually make any settings changes. Is this possible?
I feel cheerful that it has solved the problem. Thank you to share their solution.
Hi, I'm Sergio, an Independent Advisor and Microsoft Team customer just like you, and it's a pleasure to help you.
Whether the default setting of mic, speaker, or camera been changed, when her paired bluetooth headset turned in on, automatically audio devices are switching. For more details about how change it, consult:
