(Team/Channel unavailable - Something went wrong, please try again later)

Hi

I've set up a number of accounts for my business on iOS devices. I have managed to add one of them to a team but the other 9 won't add and it comes up with this error (Team/Channel unavailable - Something went wrong, please try again later). Looking through the forums this may be attributed to server issues. Do you know when this will be rectified as I require it up and running in next two weeks for a job coming up. It's no problem if it's going to take longer than that, just means i'll have to find another facility. Could just do with knowing.

Thanks

Rob

    Hi

My name is Daniel. I am an Independent Advisor and consumer of Microsoft products, I will be more than happy to help you.

I wonder whether you are experiencing the same issue when using MS Teams online.

Please follow these steps below to isolate the issue:

    1. Please go to your computer then open your chrome or edge browser as recommended browsers to access MS Teams online.
    2. Please go to MS Teams online https://teams.microsoft.com
    3. Then try to log in.

Are you experiencing the same issue when you are using MS Teams online from your computer?

    Kind Regards

    Ok thanks.

I’ll have a look at the link, unfortunately we can’t use it on desktops and need it on devices so will have a look at other options.

    Thanks

    Hi d32bus,

Thanks for reaching out! I’m RegieS an Independent Advisor and a Microsoft Teams user like you.

    Apologies for this inconvenience.

you're correct this issue happens because of the massive load in MS Teams servers due to covid - 19 plus the adoption in schools, for the meantime you can maximize Teams services on desktop as a workaround.

you may also reference this discussion article also.

    Thank you for your understanding.

    Hi

    Thanks for the help.

I’ve logged in on our office Macbook through the web client. I have created a team and added one of our devices to the team, this has sent an email to the device.

I’ve clicked the link and its opened the app and said..

”Link not supported, Guest invitation is not redeemed, please use the desktop client to redeem the invitation”.

    Clicked Ok

”Team/Channel unavailable, something went wrong. Please try again later”

    Thanks

    Rob
