Hello,
I am unable to use the Desktop Microsoft Teams app on MacOS Monterey. I see the Loading Microsoft Teams... dialog window pop-up with a blank white screen. The app does not load.
For reference, I have tried all of the possible solutions using the Microsoft Teams thread posted in the community "Teams app is stuck on 'loading' on Mac" by SuzanneSilver on 5/21/2020):
So far, nothing has helped. Same issue. Can anyone please assist?
Thank you,
Hena

Hi, I'm Sergio, it's a pleasure to help you.
Excuse me, to isolate the problem causes, answer me:
- What happen if you use the Team web app?
- Do you have other Office apps on your device? Can you logout from these apps and try again to logging in Team?
Greetings.
Hi Sergio, thank you for your suggestions.
For #1, the Teams web browser app works fine in the Chrome browser; however, it keeps loading and refreshing in the Safari browser, then shows a blank page. I also tried to download the Teams app from the browser window and received this error, see screenshot below.
For #2, I logged out of all the Office apps on my computer, rebooted it, then attempted to sign-in to the Teams app and same dialog window with "Microsoft Teams Loading... " appears, the app still does not load.
Any further assistance is appreciated.
Thanks,
Hena
Hi SergioA2020,
For #1, When opening a Teams meeting invite from an email and selecting the Desktop app option, the web application opens up (in Chrome browser) with the No Background and Blur background options only. The Desktop app does not open. I do not receive a separate sign-on window either as you have advised. I also cannot find the meeting invite notice in my Teams calendar.
#2, I clicked Force+Quit option, it closed the Desktop application.
#3, I am not using a VPN, not applicable.
#4, Auto Proxy Detect is not switched on.
Prior to receiving all of these errors, my Desktop MS Teams application would work fine allowing me to choose from multiple virtual background options. I have tried all of the solutions you have provided with no success.
How do I go about removing an old login as Manage my Accounts does not provide a delete option? I have tried "Sign-out and Forget" several times to no avail.
Thank you,
Hena
