How to change the default behavior for how a hyperlink is displayed in Teams?

In Edge there is a Setting to change the way a URL is displayed by default: Improved copy and paste of URLs in Microsoft Edge

Please can this option be added to Microsoft Teams? It's so annoying that it picks up the full page title now as default.

    I'm Renzo, I will help you with your question.

    At this point, is an option not present in Teams app, but you can suggest it to PG.

    I suggest you send your comments to PG (product group) through the Microsoft Feedback Hub, it's the way to communicate with them, (from the community it is not possible to reach them), they always see ideas, suggestions and problems (bugs) in the applications by users of Microsoft products in order to improve the application.

    Open the desktop app > at bottom-left click Help > Give Feedback > explain your suggestion and send your feedback.
