Good morning!
My work account is not syncing so I am unable to use Outlook and Teams on my android phone, a Samsung Galaxy SM-G955U. When I check on the devices in My Account, it lists the Samsung, but it shows DEVICE IS DISABLED.
On the phone, in Settings>Accounts & Backup>Accounts, I click on my work account and it lists "Sync Account>Sync off for all items" and I am unable to press the Sync now button in the hamburger menu. Automatic restore is checked for Backup & Restore, too.
Outlook lists no current email as an account and wants to begin fresh, with my non-work account. I click on that but then select SKIP THIS ACCOUNT. I type in my work address and press continue. A white screen appears with the rotating ring and back to the original screen and AN ERROR OCCURRED.
IT and I have been working on this, turning the Wifi off to have the phone sync, uninstalling and then reinstalling the apps, turning the phone itself on and off, checking if I can sign into Office365 using a browser on the phone (Chrome) and yes, I can log into my account from the browser, but the apps will not run on my Galaxy S8. There are no system updates to be made and Outlook (2 days ago) and Teams update regularly but I cannot use them for my work account.
We have searched this community and it is not a Tech Services error.
Can anyone offer any advice for solving this issue?
Many thanks in advance!

Hi, MariePC_150
We would like to know if there's any new updates from you.
Regards,
Zed
My IT team did the drastic today. They cleared the cache that was showing for Outlook on the phone and deleted Outlook again. We then deleted my comcast account (in another email program), cleared the cache of that, and shut the phone down. Online was still showing my phone as being disabled.
Phone was restarted, and they did a fresh install of Outlook. Did not see my comcast account to install into Outlook...and installed my work account fresh.
It worked. I now have Outlook functioning on my phone (today at least). Will check again later and tonight. But the funny thing is that MY ACCOUNT still shows the phone device as being disabled.

Microsoft Teams will not let me sign in, just like Outlook.
Samsung Galaxy SM-G955U
WiFi is turned off on my phone. 4G is showing on the top line.
Welcome screen>>Sign in with other account (I want to sign in with my work account)>>I type in my work account address and press SIGN IN.
Choose account type>>Work or school>We are signing you in>>There was a problem with the network. Try signing in again.
I have uninstalled and reinstalled this app several times (5 now). I have restarted the phone several times. I have updated all the software on the phone and there is no system updates to install.
That is all for now.

Hi, MariePC_150
Thanks for sharing using experience and welcome to the community. Could you please tell us what doesn’t sync in Teams? And please check with another mobile device to see whether you can access Outlook / Teams
First, please contact your Administrator to login with an Admin account to https://portal.office.com. Then do following steps according to the official article - Check Exchange Active Sync.
Also, ask administrator have a check for the mobile device access and mobile device mailbox policies in Exchange Online Admin Center (Old version).
Moreover, let Administrator check the Mobile Deice Management.
Admin Center > Resources > Mobile management
Manage device identities by using the Azure portal - Azure
We are appreciate for receiving the screenshot and it will help a lot for further technical support.
Please feel free to contact us if there’s any questions.
Best regards,
