Jabra elite 75t and Teams

Hi all,

I bought Jabra Elite 75t earphones because Microsoft recommends them on their website here:

https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/p/jabra-elite-75t-wireless-earbuds/8q4cfd03q34f?activetab=pivot%3aoverviewtab They worked well for 3 days. After that, I'm having massive problems on Teams calls - I can hear people but they can hear me.

To solve this, I need to manually go to Teams settings ->Devices -> in the Audio dropdown menu, I need to change Jabras to PC and then back to Jabras. That solves it but sometimes only for a few minutes and I need to repeat it again - on every single call. So far I tried:

  • contacting Jabra - they said it's an MS Teams issue, not theirs
  • resetting my Jabras twice - same issue

Any ideas would be appreciated...

I wasn’t able to hear teams participants but they could hear me. I went into windows sound settings and disabled the laptops built in mic, then into manage sound devices. For some reason windows detects two variations of the earbuds, one with a mic and one without. Just disable the symbol that doesn’t show a mic hanging off the headphone. It worked for me. I was about to take them back to the store after a week of trying to get them to work.

I removed the device in my Windows Bluetooth settings and paired them again.
To pair your Jabra 75t put both buds in your ear and press and hold both buttons then on your computer pair with them again.

FYI, there is a update that adds active noise cancelling on the Jabra Elite 75t earphones and it works really well. (to update mine I used the Jabra app on my phone).

    Hi AgnesU,

I'm Nik, an independent advisor here to assist you with this.

Please make sure a few things below:

    1. Please try to unplug then plug the microphone.
    2. Please kill all other apps that may use your Microphone like Zoom, Skype etc from tasks manager, press Ctrl+Alt+Del then kill any other apps potentially use your Jebra Microphone/audio.
    3. Some time mobile device try connecting/switching to Bluetooth headset, so you need to remove the headset from your mobile device and check again.

    Regards

    Nik

I tried it in a call, but if you press the left button it just mutes the microphone. Maybe if you go into the app on your phone while using it might work.

The noise suppressions works well if you are on a plane and want to drain out the white noise. But I don't think the noise cancellation is so powerful to make a Teams meeting more clear to hear.

    Hi,

Do you know if the jabra elite 75t supports the noise suppression feature in MS teams?
