I will be giving a class on Teams using a bunch of PowerPoint slides. Is it possible to use an iPad or Surface with their respective pens to draw on the slides? I will be using a desktop computer for the meeting and would like to use the iPad or Surface to make annotations on the slides. I would prefer the iPad method since I already have one. This would mean I wouldn’t need to go buy a Surface for just this functionality.
Alternatively, is there a device I can just plug into my desktop that would give me this same ability?

Hi
My name is Daniel. I am an Independent Advisor.
Yes you can there are a few ways how to make your tablet a whiteboard:
Solution 1: (IPad Only)
The following article explains how to use IPad as a whiteboard, you can do a similar approach as well with an Android tablet:
https://technologystuff.co.uk/using-ipad-as-sep...
Solution 2: Using Microsoft Whiteboard app (IPad/Android)
1 Please go to the Play store if you are using Android or App Store if you use an IOS device then search for Microsoft Whiteboard mobile app.
Please note, if you are Windows or Mac user you can use the Whiteboard web app but I have to admit MS Whiteboard standalone desktop app offers more features.
See demo video here:

Solution 3: Using 3rd party app (IPad/Android)
The following demo video shows how to use the 3rd party app to enable you to use the tablet as a whiteboard. This video shows the demo for Ipad but you can also use the same method on the Android tablet.
