How to turn off dynamic view?

Good afternoon,

Recently, after a reinstall of Microsoft Office, my friend's Microsoft Teams has somehow mysteriously switched to something called "dynamic view" in meetings. How does one turn off the dynamic view?

Thank you very much for your help.

P.S. They use a Mac.

    Good evening, Sergio,

    1. The Teams version is 1.4.00.8872.
    2. There is no such setting / check mark on neither the Windows, nor the Mac computers.
    3. We want to disable dynamic view, so what I mean is we want the old meeting layout back, yet there's no settings for that as far as the eye can see... Bizzare.

Thank you very much for your reply.

Ah, indeed you are correct, I am from Eastern Europe (UTC+3:00). My apologies and I hope that you have a great rest of your day!

Also Ignas I'm guessing you are in a different time zone than (UTC-5:00) Eastern Time (US & Canada) (my time zone), because in that time zone it is not quite the afternoon yet, and it is definitely not the evening right now, it is 11:52AM.

Hi, I'm Sergio, an Independent Advisor and Microsoft Team customer just like you, and it's a pleasure to help you.

You need to follow these steps:

    1. You must verify if your Team app version is the last one. In case if you wanted to updated MS-Teams, Click on profile icon > Check for updates – Now Teams will automatically check and install required updates
    2. In Teams, Click on profile icon > Settings > Put a check mark in
      “Turn on New Meeting Experience”.
    3. In Teams Go-to your calendar, Click on Meet Now > if the new meeting experience is enabled, user find the meeting controls at top of the window.
This option can available to you Together mode, gallery view and other
functionalities like Dynamic View, Large gallery view, Live reactions and video filters.

    Greetings.

Message to Sergio: "Hello Sergio the new meeting experience button is unavailable do to a certain update making it on by default. And I am pretty sure dynamic view is part of a different update, causing the gallery to be at the side or top." Message to Ignas: "Hello Ignas if you are looking to turn off Teams gallery being at the side/top and want it back to the bottom, I do not think that it is possible to put it back to the bottom because it was part of an update that came yesterday afternoon."

    Warm Regards,

    C.S.S_2011
