Hi GIBSONG712,

Greetings.

Thank you for raising your concern in this community.

When in Teams you can select a single chat and share it in outlook using more options next to the chat. From outlook you will be able to print it.

When you have long conversation you can take screenshots  or copy and past in OneNote or another note and print from there.

From what I know there no direct way to print from teams, that is why I gave those suggestions, hopefully it will serve you well.

Have a good weekend!

Regards,
Mac

    Microsoft,

we really need the possibility to print the chat or export to pdf.

In a long chat, it is not convenient making multiple screenshots.

I am pretty sure that you can do better in that sense.

I finally found what the "Select single chat" and "Share to Outlook" options are, and it only grabs one single entry from any chat list.

Just as you add an emoji to a single chat, hover over the chat until the box opens with the emojis. The ellipses at the right end is the "More Options" for that one message.

Under "More options" you'll find the "Share to Outlook" option.

The biggest problem with this is that it literally is for that one, single message in a chat. The option is there if you select two or more messages within a chat, but in pure MS wisdom, it changes to only sending the top single message in the string when it goes to Outlook.

It is just as easy to get a screen shot if you only need one message, so BOOO!!! MS has missed out on a critical need for their users *again*.

It's unclear what you mean here by "select a single chat and share it in outlook using more options next to the chat".

Where is "more options" exactly? It's not under "..." in Teams.

A screenshot of what you think you're telling us to do would be helpful, because "share it in outlook" doesn't seem to be an option in any obvious place.

It's kind of bizarre that I can't just "select-all" the content of a chat and paste it into a more functional program that has a basic print option.

I may be missing something. I want to print out the whole chat (single chat named Platform Matrix Discussion),and I don't see the ability to do this through the more options. The output would consist of many people's comments over many days on this single chat.
