I faced a similar problem and solved it on my own following the below process.

My problem is also similar to the one mentioned here : (Integrated Webcam turns into PC Camera - Microsoft Community)

First I need you to check one thing:

1. Go to Device Manager.
2. Select View-> Show Hidden Devices.
3. Then click on Cameras.

If under cameras you have two device drivers, one is PC Camera and another is Integrated Webcam (which is greyed out), then you have the same problem as mine.

Now take the following steps to solve the issue:

1. Download the camera drivers from the official manufacturer site.
2. Uninstall the Integrated Webcam driver and check the option Delete the driver software for this device while uninstalling.
3. Now right click on the PC Camera driver and select Update Drivers-> Browse my computer for drivers.
4. Select the option Let me pick from a list of available drivers on my computer.

5. Now select the driver of the official manufacturer (I selected SunplusIT for Lenovo ... not the Microsoft one) and select the model.

6. Click on next to install the driver.

7. Next go to Windows Update and check for updates. This will update the manufacturer driver to the latest version.
8. Restart your device. Your camera should work now.
