I use Microsoft teams on my laptop. The camera app in the laptop works fine when I open it. But in MS Teams it shows that no camera is available. So the camera is disabled during meetings. How do I solve this issue?

I have exactly the same issue. The camera and mic are greyed out in Teams. Have checked all the privacy settings. Camera works fine on Teams on the web using Edge.

    Hi, Amrutha,

My name is Didi. I'm happy to help you today.

Sorry to hear you're experiencing this issue. kindly check if your Teams app is up-to-date.

You might also need to change one of your device permissions. (Windows)

    -Open Settings

    -Under Privacy, select Camera

-Make sure the setting for Camera access for this device is turned On

If the setting is already turned on, turn the setting off then back on again

-Close all apps and restart your device

You may also check your camera once signed in to Teams. Go to Settings > Device > see if your camera is working.
