GDPR - Request acknowledgement after recording is being started

Good day Community,

I want to see how many of you would be supportive from asking for an improvement to teams in regards of recording. As GDPR is quite strict when it comes to recordings, it would make things easier if when you hit the recording buttom in Teams, participants are prompted to accept or not to participate in the recording, then after a set of time if they have not accepted, they get kick out of the meeting. Also when someone is trying to join a session, in the lobby screen also to include this to meetings that are already ongoing and are being recorded.

This will heavely help to avoid potential GDPR breaches.

Please post your comments or ideas to see if there is traction to request this to MS Teams Team.

    Dear Andres_HerreraG,

    Thanks for choosing Microsoft community!

Regarding your idea of improving Teams in terms of recording, I think it is very meaningful, and I also believe that there are many customers who have the same idea as you, so if it is convenient, please upload your valuable suggestions to Feedback, I believe that Microsoft's relevant technical development departments will continue to improve their own products after seeing your valuable suggestions, and your suggestions will benefit more users in the future, helping the work to become time-saving and more efficient.

About how to give Feedback, please kindly refer to: Give feedback in Teams

Your patience and cooperation will be highly appreciated. Thank you in advance for your contribution! Wish you all the best!

    Sincerely,

Kerry Chen | Microsoft Community Moderator
