Does Microsoft send emails via SendGrid.net?

Hi,

We occasionally receive Microsoft Teams notifications which cause a bit of panic because our email filter flags the links in the emails as suspicious. These usually come from sendgrid.net

Does Microsoft use SendGrid to send emails? Previous answers from Microsoft say that emails should always have Microsoft in the sending address. From everything I can see these emails look legitimate.

Thanks,

Druzedraak

    Hi  Druzedraak

My name is Daniel. I will be more than happy to assist you.

Please ignore it, it could be just a phishing email. Microsoft will always use its own domain @microsoft.com to send emails.

I suggest you not click any link in the emails you aren't familiar with the sender's address. This article explains how to handle phishing:  https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/office/how-...
