    Please reinstall these 2 things.

Could you please reinstall the Microphone driver. Go to Windows start menu button > type in Device Manager > Audio inputs and output. Please right-click your Microphone from the device list then select Update Driver, if it does not work > Uninstall, reinstall then restart the computer so it can take effect.

    Please reinstall the Sound driver.

Press Windows key + X > Device manager > Audio input and output (Expand), choose the options, right-click Sound card > Update driver, if it does not work > Uninstall, reinstall then restart the computer.

However, if the problem still persists I'm wondering if the problem still occurs if you create a new fresh environment for MS Team. You can always go back to the previous Windows account profile whenever you want.

    Please follow these steps:

    1. Create a new Windows account:

    1. Install MS Team in a new windows account.

From what I understand you experience this issue when using an internal microphone?

What happens when you use an external microphone (headset) instead?

    Kind Regards

    Hi Rivith

My name is Daniel. I will be more than happy to assist you.

I'm wondering whether you are experiencing the same issue when using MS Teams online.

Please follow these steps below to isolate the issue:

    1. Please go to your computer then open your chrome or edge browser as the only recommended browsers to access MS Teams online.
    2. Please go to MS Teams online https://teams.microsoft.com
    3. Then try to log in.
    4. Create a meeting then record to test this issue.

Are you experiencing the same issue when you are using MS Teams online from your computer?
