CAMERA AUTOMATICALLY SHUTTING DOWN DURING MICROSOFT TEAMS SESSION

whenever i start or join a meeting the camera starts for a few seconds showing camera is on but after a few seconds it automatically shuts down .Please resolve my issue.

    Obviously this has been a known issue with the Teams app for a long time.  After doing a lot of research, I'm amazed that nobody has figured out a solution.

    UPDATE:  After trying ALL of the other suggestions, I finally found the fix for my Lenovo X1 Carbon ThinkPad:

      • Press Windows key + R, type regedit, and press Enter. Make sure you backup your registry before doing anything.
      • Navigate to HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows Media Foundation\Platform.
      • Right-click on the Platform folder and select New > DWORD.
      • Name it EnableFrameServerMode.
      • Right-click on the newly created value and select Modify.
      • Change its Value data to 0.
      • Do the same with HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\WOW6432Node\Microsoft\Windows Media Foundation\Platform.

    I'm so happy I discovered something that actually works!

    I also seem to have the same problem. I am using desktop Teams attached with a logitech webcam. 

    i have also tried steps noted above with no luck.

    I tried all the things you had mentioned . On microsoft teams web my camera is working properly.However,the same problem still persists with the app.

    Hi WI have the same issue with MS Teams on iOS 11.1+ and a Logitech webcam c920.

    The issue persists since a month, before it was working well since I start to use the setup in Jan 2021.

    Hi V.Araya,

    I've exact the same issue with this camera.

    I don't have this issue with any other cameras. It seems like the camera goes to sleep after 5-10 minutes, but only in Teams calls.
