Are title from other organization meeting visible in my organisation calendar?

Hello,

My organization use Teams and Outlook and some of my colleagues can see the title of events in my calendar.

I want to join a Teams meeting from another organization for which I was invited on a private email address and the meeting is not in my organization outlook calendar. When I will open the link for the external meeting, will the title of the meeting chosen by the organizer be visible in my organization Outlook calendar? Of course I ask that because I need it not to be visible.

Thanks for the help and confirmation.

Thank you for details, it has helped to understand your requirement.

You could use your office laptop to join the interview meeting on Teams. However, please make sure that you login with your private email address/anonymous user while joining meeting, else default your Teams try to login with your work account.

To avoid any confusion, you could use the MS Teams web app, click in the meeting link and choose “Continue on this browser” option to open the team meeting in web app. This way you could ensure that you’re accessing the link with your personal account.

    Hi, thanks for the replay.

You obviously didn't understood my point. Maybe in a more direct way: I'm working at company A and I'm using Teams and Outlook in this company. I'm invited for a job interview on Teams by company B, invite was sent on my private email address, obviously as I don't want my boss or any colleages in company A to be aware of it. The meeting title in the invitation is "Job interview of My_Name". I have no other machine to be able to join the meeting in good condition so I'm planning to use my organization laptop to join the meeting (and on top of that I want my colleages to be able to see me online as busy in a meeting) but I need to be sure that nobody in company A will be able to see the meeting title (in Teams, Outlook or anywere else).

    Is it more clear?

    Hi,

Thanks for your post on the community forum. I'm Nik, an independent advisor here to assist you with this.

As per the description, you have received a meeting invite on your private email that is not your organization Team account.

If I understand that your organization outlook is not linked to your private email address. Is this understanding of mine correct?

If so, In this situation, you will not see the meeting invite in your organization outlook calendar as these are two different accounts.

Please ask the external Team organizer to send a meeting invite to your organisation work email address to see the meeting title in the outlook calendar.

    Regards

    Nik
