Remove Teams gallery

How do I remove the Teams gallery from sight?  This takes up NVA bandwidth (especially when there are videos), and I need to see the content.  Simply moving the gallery from the side to the top is ineffective.

Is there NO answer to this question?
I was just in a meeting where I could _BARELY_ see the shared screen, wanted to give it more real estate.

And I could not. Yes, I set the "focus" ... got a tiny improvement.

But there was this big, black blob above my own video (which I did not need to see either).

I could find NO SETTING to turn this off.

Was VERY annoying. Zoom is much better at handling this - and I have TWO screens.

(and I cannot log in to "the community" with my work email, I have to use my personal email, I am ready for a padded cell, glad it is Friday).

    Sergio,

There is no option to remove the pictures/videos/bubbles with initials that are totally NVA. I only want shared content to display when somebody is sharing. None of the solutions offered address this.

I didn't see an answer to this question, so I'll answer it.

    1. In the meeting, click the three dots (...) for "more actions."
    2. Select "Focus." This will focus only on the shared content. The user "gallery" will disappear from the right side.
    3. If you need to see more, click on "Fullscreen"

This still has the meeting "menu bar" on the top and a small window of you in the lower right. If the content is still too small, you can Zoom the content to fit the screen better. Hope this helps you as much as it helped me!
