I want to remove a SharePoint synchronized folder.

In our company we use Microsoft Teams and we are mapping up a lot of SharePoint folder. When the time goes some folder are irrelevant.

I don’t want to have them in explorer anymore.

How do I remove, delete, that folder?

Got the same problem and found the solution here: https://www.cloudservus.com/how-to-remove-a-synced-teams-folder-from-windows-file-explorer/

Right-click on your one-drive icon in system tray to open settings. In the "account" tab select to folder you want to stop synching. Afterwards you can delete the folder in your network drive.

I Synchronise the folders via SharePoint and mapped it up like a picture below. Log in on SharePoint with edge, press synchronize and again synchronise now.

It is not on a local server, it is on xxxxxxxx.sharepoint.com

    Hello COJO-Exact

Thank you for participating in the Microsoft Community, I am Skypper G. I am an independent advisor, let me help you with this.

Go to your OneDrive settings > Account > hit Stop Sync or Choose Folder for synchronize the folders you want to or remove to.

Then you can make right click on the folder from the File Explorer and just remove it from there.

    Hi

I have just tried it and it don't work that way I want to.

I can hide all subfolders but not the first one. (I hid folder "Etapp1")
