Managing presence indicators such as Available, Busy, or Away to reflect user availability
I have the same issue. Not sure if anyone found the solution to this.

My status in Microsoft Teams is not updating to 'Focusing' even though I am in the middle of a Focus time event on my Outlook Calendar.
I have scheduled Focus time via Microsoft's MyAnalytics page.
After scheduling the times, I see my Outlook calendar is populated with the Focus time events.
When I begin the Focus time, my Microsoft Teams status updates to 'Busy', and not 'Focusing' as it is supposed to.
To be redundant, the issue is NOT trying to schedule the Focus times. The Focus times are not displaying the correct status on Microsoft Teams.

Hi Ankita Vaidya, thank you for your response. I was able to try your recommendations.
I was using Teams on my mobile device. logged out and tried again but the Teams status on my PC was still 'Busy' during a focus time.
I checked my Teams status online as well. but it was also set to 'Busy'.
Finally, I cleared my cache according to the instructions on the Microsoft Docs page. This did not resolve the issue either.
If you have other suggestions please let me know and I will see if they have any affect on my issue.
Thank you for your help!
