Good day Microsoft Team

I been experiencing issues with my MS Teams app since I was migrated from Skype to Teams, when I am in meetings suddenly I stop hearing my co-workers but they still can hear me.

I have changed my enterprise Laptop, I am connected to internet using Ethernet cable, in my home there are other Teams users and they are not having the same issues.

Could you please help me to check what is happening?

Fir t of all Please try to reinstall the Sound driver.

Press Windows key + X > Device manager > Audio input and output (Expand), choose the options, right-click Sound card > Update driver, if it does not work > Uninstall, reinstall then restart the computer. Read more:

However, if the problem still persists then I'd like to let you know, Plantronics Blackwire C3220 auricular is not a certified device for the MS Team desktop app, therefore you get inconsistent results. I always suggest users use the certified device only. The following article shows a list of certified devices. https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/microsoftteams...

Having said that, you can try the following troubleshooting tips in the following article below by using VoiceMeeter as a virtual microphone for the MS Team app. So basically The VoiceMeeter will act as a "bridge" between your headset and MS Team and see how it goes. Please visit this link: https://answers.microsoft.com/en-us/msteams/for...

However, if the problems still per still persist then please use a certified device only.

    Kind Regards

It can be many factors contributing to the issue.

May I ask, are you using a headset or built-in speaker?

Please also reinstall the Sound driver.

Press Windows key + X > Device manager > Audio input and output (Expand), choose the options, right-click Sound card > Update driver, if it does not work > Uninstall, reinstall then restart the computer. Read more: https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/help/402844...

Dnl.Tech I tested 1 time and worked fine... I'll keep testing it the next week in all meetings.

If works fine from Chrome, what is the issue with the app?

    Thank you.

    Hi DanielBaquero

My name is Daniel. I will be more than happy to assist you.

I'm wondering whether you are experiencing the same issue when using MS Teams online.

Please follow these steps below to isolate the issue:

    1. Please go to your computer then open your chrome or edge browser as the only recommended browsers to access MS Teams online.
    2. Please go to MS Teams online https://teams.microsoft.com
    3. Then try to log in.
    4. Join the meeting to test the audio.

Are you experiencing the same audio issue when you are using MS Teams online from your computer?
