Hi,
At my work we are just starting to transition to using MS Teams from SFB, and through some trouble-shooting of the presence statuses I had a question regarding how MS Teams tracks your 'away time'.
If I set myself to Away, I don't see how long I've been away for - whether 5 minutes, 10 minutes, 30 minutes, etc. Like I would on SFB.
For others, I can see how long they've been away for. For example, a colleague of mine was set to away and under their presence status it would say something like '27 minutes' - and then I notice it will suddenly change to 'Just now', followed by 'A moment
ago', followed by 'x minutes' while still keeping the Away status.
My question is how does MS Teams track this? Does it start counting the minutes you've been away for based on your mouse/keyboard activity or is it just if you have MS Teams minimized or in the background? And if so, is it so that whenever you move your
mouse or touch something on your keyboard, the minutes reset?
