Additional meeting and call-related features and issues within Microsoft Teams for business
Hi Manny,
I am following up with more information regarding the Guest access for Teams and Cisco Device Touch-10 without ablilty to join meeting.
MS Teams doesn't allow SIP call-in to meetings without a CVI provider (Cloud Video Interop). Right now CVI providers are Poly/Pexip/BlueJeans and Cisco is going to become a MS Teams CVI provider soon as well.
Cisco did come up with a way to join MS Teams meetings from Cisco devices using the web engine on the device to just display the web link for MS Teams and uses WebRTC to send audio/video.
If the endpoint is cloud-registered with calendar connector, you just need to flip the WebRTC MS Teams flag in Control hub under Devices. It's a global setting.
If it's an on-prem device, they are requiring it to be in Webex Edge for Devices mode for Calendar Connector to properly parse the MS Teams web link. You may be able to get around it on your own with a Macro. The CE firmware with the WebRTC functionality isn't out yet so right now only cloud-registered on RoomOS works but the new CE version should be out shortly.
If you're doing CVI instead of the web engine join, you'll need to do the CVI integration on the MS Teams side so it will add the SIP URI's to the meeting invites.
For CVI, you may be able to make a Join Button to just enter a meeting number but each CVI provider has their own domain format. CVI Video Interop for Microsoft Teams link below:

Access to Meetings
Participants connecting through the video integration are normally treated as guest users to Microsoft Teams meetings and may be placed in a lobby (waiting room). A Microsoft Teams user must manually admit a participant who is in the lobby before the participant can hear or see other participants.
You can control the Microsoft Teams lobby behavior through meeting policies set by an administrator in Microsoft Teams and through meeting options set by the meeting organizer. By default, Microsoft Teams guest users must use the lobby. For more information on Teams meetings policies, see Manage meeting policies in Teams.

If the Anonymous users can join a meeting setting is set to off, only trusted participants who are allowed lobby bypass will be able to join the meeting through the Cisco Webex video integration.
I hope this helps, please feel free to reply to this if you need any further Assistance.
Kindly
Kenneth
