Rescheduling of meetings in teams channel calendar by members

Hi all

I have noticed that there has been several questions like this before, some answered suggest the feature is not yet there and feature requests ect.

I am catching up, wanting to know if any has got around this "issue", is the feature coming on a road map somewhere?

We have Teams where they have weekly scheduled team meetings, and they would like to have the ability for anyone that is a member of the Team to be able to reschedule the weekly meeting.

    Hi Digital,

    It is on the roadmap and being worked on based on the link below. Hopefully this feature will be included on future releases as many users are waiting for this to be added.

    I may have found a work around, by creating a shared mailbox and team, the team members can adjust the appointment in their outlook > Calendar > shared mailbox calendar. Seems to work, but dont think its feasible for an already existing team, unless there is a way to mailbox-enable a Team?

    With regards to your query on rescheduling of meetings in teams channel calendar by members, unfortunately, the feature is not yet available. As of the moment, meeting organizer still have the full permissions to the meeting set up and only them can access the edit option to the meeting from the calendar.
