I am receiving an invitation titled MATURE MEN EITHER from Nora_3213a on my outlook calendar on my iPhone that I can’t delete. The odd thing is the event does not show up on my outlook calendar on my laptop. I do not see the ability to toggle off Microsoft teams.

Hello Terri C,

I’m sorry you’re still having trouble with the event on your iPhone. If you cannot delete or unsubscribe from the event, it might be because the event was created by someone else, and you don’t have permission to delete it. In this case, you can try declining the event instead.

If the event is not showing up on the Outlook website, it could be due to a syncing issue between your iPhone and the Outlook server. You can try some of the following steps to troubleshoot this issue:

Ensure your iPhone is connected to the internet and that you’re signed in to the correct Outlook account on both your iPhone and the Outlook website. Check if any updates are available for the Outlook app on your iPhone and install them if necessary. Try restarting your iPhone and see if that helps. If none of these steps helps, you might want to try removing and re-adding your Outlook account on your iPhone.

I hope these suggestions help! Let me know if you have any further questions or concerns.

Kind regards, Segunfunmi.

Hi, I had exactly the same thing! Same "Mature Men Either" I found an email in my junk mail from the address that invited me. I deleted all my junk mail and it got rid of all the invites. They were in my calendar every day for years! But they have all gone, so hope it works for you

Hello Terri C, I’m Segunfunmi, an Independent Advisor and Microsoft user like you. Thanks for posting the query here in this forum. It sounds like you might have accidentally subscribed to a spam calendar. To remove the event, you can delete the calendar subscription. Here’s how to do it on your iPhone: Open the Calendar app. Tap the unwanted Calendar event. Tap “Unsubscribe from this Calendar” at the bottom of the screen. To confirm, tap "Unsubscribe". As for Microsoft Teams, it is not related to your Outlook calendar issue. However, if you want to turn off Microsoft Teams, you can do so by right-clicking the purple Microsoft Teams icon in your notification area or system tray and selecting “Settings” > “Do Not Auto-Start Teams”. You can then right-click the icon again and decide "Quit". Is there anything else I can help with? Kind Regards, Segunfunmi.

First, thank you for the response. When I tap on the event in the calendar app as you said, there is no UNSUBSCRIBE option anywhere on the page. This event shows only on my iPhone outlook calendar, NOT in the outlook calendar on the Microsoft outlook website which is odd. Also, the Microsoft Teams toggle is not shown anywhere on the Outlook website calendar event nor on my iPhone. Issue still is not resolved.

Same. And every time I decline, it pops right back up.

I've had exactly this same issue for some time and have just tried searching for a similarly named email in my junk folder (as suggested by Suzie C earlier). I found it and deleted it from junk. As soon as I did this, the invitation disappeared from my calendar app on my iphone. Thank you Suzie! Simple but worked perfectly.

Thank you, the other steps did not work, but removing the Outlook account and adding it back did resolve the issue.
