Can I add a Microsoft form to a tab in a teams group that is not private?

I have been trying to add a "Microsoft Forms" form to a team I have created that is not private. The head of my IT said I should have the permissions needed to do this. However, when I select the group if only shows up momentarily before suddenly disappearing. Is this a feature that I should be allowed to do? Thanks for any insight.

    Update your app then

In Teams, go to the channel you want and click Add a tab Add button.

Under Tabs for your team, click Forms.

In the Forms tab configuration page that opens, choose Create a shared form that your team can edit, then provide a name for your new form.

Post to the channel about this tab is automatically checked so you can immediately share your new form with your team. If you don't want to share it right away, deselect this option.

    Click Save.

Shared. I prefer only a small group of people on my team see the form

I am nto using a private channel. I am using an open one. Should forms be able to work in an open one?

It lets me select it but then once it shows up in the channel after a couple seconds it disappears.

    Hello,

I'm Josephine, happy to help you today. I am an independent advisor and a customer like you

I'm very sorry about the inconvenience.

Currently, private channels support connectors and tabs (except Stream, Planner, and Forms).

I hope this answers your question.

I would be expecting a reply to this thread

    Sincerely,

    Josephine.
