Hello Celina, this is Suganya. I'm happy to assist you.

In Microsoft Teams, the camera focus is typically controlled automatically based on the available settings and the capabilities of your camera device. However, there are a few things you can try to improve the camera focus on the speaker in a conference room:

    1. Adjust the camera view. During the meeting, you can customize your view by selecting "Gallery view" or "Speaker view" depending on your preference. If the camera is set to "Gallery view," it will display all participants in the meeting, and if it is set to "Speaker view," the camera will automatically focus on the active speaker.
    2. Disable autofocus: If your camera has autofocus enabled, it may be causing it to focus on movement in the background. In this case, you can try disabling autofocus and manually adjusting the focus on the speaker using the camera controls.

I hope this helps you to resolve the issue. Please let me know if you need further assistance. Thank you!

    Thank you for getting back!

Within the MS Teams app if you click the ellipsis on the application banner (beside your name) > go to Settings > Devices > Camera > Open Camera Settings > Select the Camera Control tab > Untick Auto focus > Apply.
