Hey does anyone know how to turn off the automatic attendance report which pops up in the chat after every meeting - very intrusive but I can t seem to work out a way to disable.

Any suggestions gratefully received.

Thanks

    Hi,

I noticed that as of January 13th, my meetings have been adding attendance reports. I checked the meeting settings and the Attendance Report option was not selected so there shouldn't be a report there. Do you know what the fix for this is? Thank you.

    Hi,

I also have the same issue. Tried those steps and managed to turn off the 'Allow attendance report' button, but still got this report generated after the meeting.

    Best regards,

    Mykhailo

    Hi Didi,

correct me if I am wrong but your answer only applies when you have admin priviledges.

For a normal user, is it possible to disable the creation of the Attendance Report, or at least to delete it from the chat somehow?

For recurring meetings it comes annoying to have these messages among real comments in the chat:

    Thanks in advance

    Hi Didi,

seems the solution you mentioned turn off the report in general. The question was, how to disable the automatic creation if the the file in the meeting-chat.

There are several alternative ways to receive the report if required (View and download meeting attendance reports in Teams (microsoft.com).

Just dropping the file to the chat is spamming.

    Hi Lloydhe,

My name is Didi. I'm happy to help you today.

If you don't want to enable this feature, you can turn it off from the Teams admin center, https://admin.teams.microsoft.com/ > Meetings > Meeting policies > Global > General > Engagement report > Turn off > Save.

With this setting, organizers won't be able to see who registered and attended the meetings and webinars they set up.

Let me know if you have clarifications.

    Kind regards,
