I am not sure if this is a feature or a bug as most references to this seem to highlight the CTRL SHIFT L/R option to do it.
After typing a message, if I then edit the message and highlight the message from right to left using the mouse then once I start typing the message then types from right to left. Also, when this is happening, the backspace key which I usually use for deleting the previous letter no longer works and instead, the del key next to the numeric keyboard has to be used.

This specifically happens for me when I'm quickly flipping between programs and start typing immediately after Teams pulls up onto my screen. If I delete the text and re-enter, it comes in forwards.
I was thinking it might be related to it being on a VDI. On my local Teams installation I don't have the issue, only on the installed version on my VDI I run into this issue. Both are running the same version (1.6.00.11166 64 bit).

Quickly flicking to a different chat then typing, everything gets entered in backwards...
Almost like this dreadful software can't keep up.
As expected, the behavior returns on reboot.
This happens on different computers with different installations of Teams.
