Customizing default reactions is now available in the new teams!

    See highlighted buttons.

I don't see an option to customize default reactions. Can you post the screenshot of that button that brings the popup you posted?

I have accidently clicked the default heart reaction too many times. Please allow us to change or remove that default option.

I have the expanded emoji reaction box in Teams. I was trying to respond to a very sad comment about my boss's mother dying with a crying face emoji, and I accidentally clicked on the Nerdy face emoji, and couldn't figure out how to remove or change it... but after a few frantic minutes I discovered that you just have to click on a different emoji to change it... Phew! At least now I have a funny story to tell. Thought I should tell it here in case anyway else runs into the same problem. Cheers :-)

I wanted to add to this question, as as it appears that there is an expanded reaction is in the works with Feature ID 88080. One of my colleagues has access to the expanded reactions, but there is no update available to add it to all the accounts. Is this a situation where there was a random beta test for this new function?
