How can I create a Task tab in a private channel?

Im trying to create a task tab in a private channel but Teams is not allowing me, I have owner permission. What can I do?

    Hi Wilmer,

    I'm Amro, an Independent advisor and a fellow Microsoft customer. I’m happy to look into this for you.

    To add a plan to private channel please follow theses steps:

    1. Go to Planner on the Web
    2. Create a 'New Plan"
    3. Give it a Name and select "Private"
    4. Add Members that are in the private Channel
    5. Copy the link to the Plan
    6. Go to your private channel in Teams
    7. Add a new tab
    8. Select the Website
    9. Paste the link of the created Plan
