A white screen comes out instead of the videos of myself and meeting members although before joining the meeting, my video works fine. How I do correct this? (I am using a MacBook Air.)

    Just to add to this, if I minimise the screen, I can see the in focus camera of whoever is talking. Everyone can see me as well. It's simply a matter of Teams not pushing the imagery to the group chat. This only started happening for me about a fortnight ago, and now Teams just won't work for video chat in full screen.

    Hello Raja, My name is Indhurani, I’ll be happy to help you today.

    The most likely cause of this issue is that your computer's camera is not being detected by the Teams application. To fix this, you can try the following steps:

    1. Make sure that your camera is connected properly and that the lens is uncovered.
    2. Restart your computer and try joining the meeting again.
    3. Make sure that your computer's camera is enabled in the system preferences.
    4. Check if your video is enabled in the Teams application.
    5. Please try to clear the Teams cache

    To clear Teams cache in macOS

    -> If Teams is still running, right-click the Teams icon in the dock, and then select Quit, or press Command (⌘)-Q.

    -> In the Finder, open the /Applications/Utilities folder, and then double-click Terminal.

    -> Enter the following command, and then press Return:

    -> Console

    rm -r ~/Library/Application\ Support/Microsoft/Teams

    -> Restart Teams.

    1. If the issue persists, try uninstalling and reinstalling the Teams application.

    I hope it will be fixed. Please let me know if you still need further assistance.

    Regards,

    Indhurani

    You're welcome! Glad to help. If clearing the cache doesn't solve the issue, then try uninstalling and re-installing Teams on your MacBook Air. If you need any assistance with this, please let me know. I'm here to help.

    Hi, clearing the cache seemed a bit more advance than I am willing to venture, and so I tried uninstalling and reinstalling and that has not worked either. Help!

    Thanks for the quick reply Indhurani!

    Actually this is not the first time I am using Teams for meetings and the videos work fine before.

    I tried Googling for an answer, and one of the suggestions was to reboot Windows or Teams but I was not sure how to do that on MacBook Air. I suppose uninstall and re-installing would be the best option for me. But I will try to clear the cache first and will keep you updated!
