How to prevent Teams minimising on screenshare

Its 2023. After reading multiple locked threads of the same question, how do you prevent teams from minimising the meeting window when sharing a screen. I work with 2 32” 4k displays. Yet every single time when I share my screen that is not the same as where the meeting window is, Teams chooses to minimise it. I mean, come on! Even Google cannot make a worse UX choice. God I miss Slack.

Its just mind-boggling how they even thought it would be a good idea to have it without ability to disable, let alone have it as a default. My daily meetings look like this: one screen has the content, second has Teams. I click to share the content screen, wait for the window to minimise, the click to maximise it back and then I can start a presentation. Even google with their terrible UX/UI wouldn't do a thing like that. And Microsoft seems to be riddled with cases like this. The amount of feedback I submitted... Still nothing.

not to sound like a prat but that solution is even worse (and yet it somewhat failed to work anyway). That toolbar is bad enough as it is because it doesn't really hide when not pinned unless you click on it and then click outside. It blocks the top part of the screen (like browser tabs in full screen).

But going back to the matter at hand, the worst thing with this minimising functionality is that it behaves the same in a call without screen share. if for one reason or another I need to switch windows on the same monitor where teams is, it just minimises it and gives me a screen blocking video window.

The UX is so simple here - a toggle that prevents screen from going into minimised video. And judging from all the articles I read - its something that a lot of people struggle with.

Seriously, why does Microsoft INSIST on making this behavior exist whatsover? It is so incredibly frustrating that it just constantly resizes, minimizes, moves for no reason.... Not to mention the share widgets blocking the top of the screen when sharing, making it impossible to click on browser tabs. Do you know of a single other application that behaves like this whatsoever? The numerous closed threads about this annoyance show that literally no one thinks this is useful.

HOW CAN THIS BE POSSIBLY BE CONSIDERED DESIRED BEHAVIOR???

I've had to create a feedback case for this. Its crazy to think there's no disable/enable option for this.

It's incredibly frustrating for my users who don't know IT very well and don't know how to bring up the video feeds again!

If you wanted to vote for the feature the link is here. I'm honestly not sure what else we can do at this point.
